Willie and Laura were married in 1984 while both serving on staff with Victory Life fellowship (now called New Beginnings Family Church of Calgary). In 1985, they attended Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa Oklahoma where they graduated in 1987. The couple returned and served as Assistant Pastors for the next 13 years and were then set in as Senior Pastors in 2000. In 1989, their son David was born and two years later Michelle was born. Both David and Michelle are active in the church; serving on the music team as well as with the youth.

Willie and Laura have a love for life and a desire to see people rise up and fulfill their destiny.
